Understanding PHOTOBIOMODULATION

Natural cellular energy is produced by mitochondria, the powerhouse of our cells. Mitochondria have photoreceptors (cytochrome c oxidase) which capture photons of light, generating chemical reactions and resulting in the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the main source of energy for cells. These photoreceptors have a particular affinity for red light, more precisely for the wavelength emitted by Helight Care, i.e. 635 nanometers. The process causes a cell regeneration effect.
